I never tried tofu until I went vegan, and always thought it was gross.
Turns out, I was missing out.
Tofu is the base for so many high protein recipes, and has an amazing nutritional profile.

First up is my replacement for scrambled eggs, which in my opinion is a huge improvement.
Tofu scramble is simple, and has a ton of protein.
Despite a horrible name, this creamy white sauce has a ton of protein since it contains tofu (as certain vegan heavy cream substitutes do).
If you want even more protein, use bean-based or pea pasta.
Chow mein noodles aren’t vegan, but this veganized chow mein is essentially tofu and a lot of vegetables.
It’s tasty, relatively low calorie, and has a bunch of protein.
I’m not sure what makes a taco specifically towards breakfast, but here it is. Tacos and tofu, it both tastes great and fulfills your early morning protein needs.
If you miss chicken fingers, you’ll love these breaded tofu steaks.
Finally, this satay tofu stir fry is mainly made of tofu, veggies, and cauliflower rice. It’s low calorie, and high protein.
